Queen Creek, AZ – One Killed, Three Injured in Auto Accident at Rittenhouse & Riggs Rds

Queen Creek, AZ (September 12, 2022) – A car accident happened in Queen Creek on the morning of Saturday, September 10. Shortly after 4:00 a.m., responders were dispatched to the scene to assist the involved parties. 

One vehicle was involved in the collision that took the life of one teenager and injured three other people. It happened at the intersection of Rittenhouse Road and Riggs Road. Police reported the driver miscalculated a curve and crossed into oncoming traffic lanes before striking a brick wall lined with electrical equipment.

Information provided by the Sheriff’s Office states that the electrical equipment caught fire due to the collision. The fire spread to the vehicle. 

Police reported that the driver was charged with aggravated assault and manslaughter. They were booked into a Maricopa County jail. Their name has not been released at this time. 

The names of the victims have not been reported. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.

Phoenix, AZ – Broadway Rd Scene of Fatal Pedestrian Accident near 19th Ave

Phoenix, AZ (September 9, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian collision happened in southern Phoenix early on the morning of Friday, September 9. A man was struck and killed by a vehicle, according to reports. 

Police in Phoenix were dispatched to the scene of the crash located on Broadway Road near 19th Avenue at approximately 5:00 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man who lost his life after crossing Broadway Road and being struck by a vehicle. 

The identities of the victim and the driver have not been released at this time. Broadway Road was closed from 15th Ave to 19th Avenue while responders were at the scene. The area was blocked off for nearly 5 hours while crews were present. 

At this time, authorities in Phoenix continue to investigate the details of the accident.

Chandler, AZ – One Killed in Fatal Rollover Accident on I-10

Chandler, AZ (September 9, 2022) – On Monday evening, September 5, a fatal rollover accident took place in Chandler. Sources report the incident took place on Interstate 10 when one victim lost their life. 

Information provided by the Arizona Department of Public Safety reports that the incident involved an SUV and a truck. Both vehicles were traveling along Interstate 10 when they collided. 

One of them rolled over and ejected the driver. It remains unclear which of the vehicles rolled over, however, the driver who was ejected lost their life at the scene. 

The roadway was closed while emergency crews worked to clear the area and complete preliminary duties. The damaged vehicles were towed from the scene. 

Currently, police in Chandler continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

Scottsdale, AZ – Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries on Thompson Peak Pkwy near Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd

Scottsdale, AZ (September 8, 2022) – At approximately 9:35 p.m., on September 8, a car wreck was reported in Scottsdale that required an emergency dispatch. Responders were seen helping injured victims at the scene. 

Information from reports shows that the incident happened on Thompson Peak Parkway near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard. At least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.

Phoenix, AZ – Car Crash on I-10 W near 43rd Ave Ends in Injuries

Phoenix, AZ (September 8, 2022) – A car wreck was reported in Phoenix on the evening of September 8. At approximately 8:50 p.m., responders were dispatched to the crash scene on Interstate 10. 

According to reports, the accident occurred on I-10 near 43rd Avenue. What caused the crash to occur remains under police investigation at this time. 

One or more injured victims required emergency medical care at the crash site. Paramedics transported those in need of extensive medical attention to local hospitals for treatment as necessary. 

At this time, the name of the injured parties has not been reported. Two lanes of the roadway were blocked while responders were present in the area.
