Phoenix, AZ – Auto Collision Causes Injuries on Maryland Ave near 35th Ave

Phoenix, AZ (August 12, 2022) – Just before 12:00 p.m. on August 11, a car crash happened in Phoenix that ended in injuries. Police, EMTs, and other responders were sent to the scene to help the involved parties. 

Sources say the collision occurred near 35th Avenue on Maryland Avenue. At least two vehicles collided in the area and injured at least one person. 

Ambulances were observed at the crash scene for some time after the incident occurred. The total number of injured victims has not been reported at this time. At least one person required transportation to the hospital from the crash site. 

Those involved in the crash have not been identified at this time. Traffic was delayed in the area while responders were present.

Phoenix, AZ – Police Respond to Injury Collision on I-10 near 83rd Ave

Phoenix, AZ (August 12, 2022) – An auto accident happened in Phoenix on the afternoon of August 11th that caused injuries. At approximately 12:30 p.m., responders were sent to the scene of the accident on Interstate 10. 

Reports show that the incident happened on Interstate 10 near 83rd Avenue. An unknown number of vehicles collided in the area and caused injuries for those involved. 

At this time, what caused the crash is under investigation by the police. At least one person was hurt in the collision.

Phoenix, AZ – Car Wreck Causes Injuries on 7th St near Southern Ave

Phoenix, AZ (August 11, 2022) – At approximately 12:40 p.m. on the afternoon of August 11, an injury collision occurred in Phoenix. Numerous responders were sent to the scene of the incident shortly after the accident took place. 

Reports show that the wreck occurred on 7th Street near Southern Avenue. The number of vehicles involved in the accident has not been reported at this time.

Mesa, AZ – 4-Year-Old Girl Injured in Hit & Run on Main St near Lesuer, Pioneer Park

Mesa, AZ (August 11, 2022) – Police stated that a 4-year-old female sustained critical injuries in a hit-and-run collision that happened near Pioneer Park in Mesa on August 7, Sunday. Authorities were called to the scene located on Main Street. 

Reports indicate the wreck occurred on Main Street near Leseur at around 4:00 p.m. A toddler ran into the roadway and was hit by a silver sedan, sources said. Investigators say that the vehicle slowed at the scene before taking off. 

The young girl was critically injured in the collision. She was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The driver was identified as 48-year-old Veronica Laprada. She was arrested and sent to jail shortly after the incident. 

She was charged with a class 3 felony of failing to stay at the scene of a physical injury accident. Authorities in Mesa continue to investigate the details of the wreck.

Glendale, AZ – Major MVA on US 60 / Grand Ave near Bethany Home Rd

Glendale, AZ (August 10, 2022) – One or more individuals suffered injuries in Glendale on the morning of August 10. At approximately 11:15 a.m., responders were sent to the scene of an accident on US 60.
