Buckeye, AZ – Two Killed in Plane Crash near I-10 & Palo Verde Rd

Buckeye, AZ (June 18, 2022) –  A fatal plane collision took place in Buckeye on the morning of June 18. Just before 7:00 a.m., a Cessna place crashed into the desert. 

The incident happened just northwest of Buckeye Municipal Airport near Interstate 10 and Palo Verde Road. Police report that only two people were on board at the time of the collision. 

One victim lost their life at the scene. The other passed away at the hospital a short time later. 

The deceased victims were identified as Emmanuel Flores, 32, and Daniel Keen, 56. Police in Buckeye continue to investigate the details of the crash. 

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased at this time. 

Nothing further has been reported.
