Buckeye, AZ – Major MVA with Semi-Truck on SR 85 near MC 85

Buckeye, AZ (September 14, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized after a car wreck happened on a roadway in Buckeye. Police in Buckeye report that a semi-truck and a passenger car were involved in a collision. 

The Buckeye Valley Fire Department said that four people were involved in the wreck, three of which were transported to local hospitals with injuries. Their identities have not been reported at this time.

One individual is listed as being in critical condition in the hospital while two others are stable. Police continue to investigate the details of the wreck.

Phoenix, AZ – Major MVA on SR-74 near Castle Hot Springs Rd

Phoenix, AZ (September 13, 2022) – A major motor vehicle collision was reported on the morning of Tuesday, September 13 in Phoenix. Police arrived at the crash scene around 8:35 a.m. to find at least one person with injuries. 

Sources say the accident occurred on State Route 74 near Castle Hot Springs Road. The number of vehicles involved is unknown at this time, however, at least one person was hurt in the crash. 

Police are still investigating the details surrounding the incident. Paramedics, fire crews, and other responders worked in the area for some time on Tuesday morning causing significant traffic delays in the area. 

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

Chandler, AZ – Loop 101 Scene of Injury Wreck near Ray Rd

Chandler, AZ (September 13, 2022) – Authorities were alerted of an auto crash in Chandler on Tuesday morning, September 13. Shortly after 11:00 a.m., responders were dispatched to the scene on Loop 101. 

Emergency crews were seen in the area near Ray Road/Exit 59 on Loop 101. The wreck happened in the northbound roadway between an unspecified number of vehicles. 

Injuries were confirmed as a result of the accident. The names of the injured victims however have not been reported. Police in Chandler continue to investigate the details of the incident.

Phoenix, AZ – Fatal Wreck on 43rd Ave near Bell Rd Takes Life of Deborah Connel

Phoenix, AZ (September 12, 2022) – On the morning of Tuesday, September 6, a car crash happened in Phoenix that took one life. Responders were seen at the crash site at approximately 7:00 a.m. 

The incident was reported to officials in the area who promptly responded to the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Bell Road. The involved vehicles were identified as an SUV and a pickup truck. 

One woman lost her life in the accident. She was identified as 72-year-old Deborah Connel. Connel attempted to pull out of a private drive and head north when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle. 

Paramedics transported Connel to a local medical center to be treated for life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced deceased a short time later. 

The other driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Their identity has not been released at this time. 

The roadway was closed while emergency responders worked in the area. Nothing further has been reported.

Queen Creek, AZ – One Killed, Three Injured in Auto Accident at Rittenhouse & Riggs Rds

Queen Creek, AZ (September 12, 2022) – A car accident happened in Queen Creek on the morning of Saturday, September 10. Shortly after 4:00 a.m., responders were dispatched to the scene to assist the involved parties. 

One vehicle was involved in the collision that took the life of one teenager and injured three other people. It happened at the intersection of Rittenhouse Road and Riggs Road. Police reported the driver miscalculated a curve and crossed into oncoming traffic lanes before striking a brick wall lined with electrical equipment.

Information provided by the Sheriff’s Office states that the electrical equipment caught fire due to the collision. The fire spread to the vehicle. 

Police reported that the driver was charged with aggravated assault and manslaughter. They were booked into a Maricopa County jail. Their name has not been released at this time. 

The names of the victims have not been reported. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
