Phoenix, AZ – Three Hospitalized After Three-Car Wreck on 24th St near Southern Ave

Phoenix, AZ (July 12, 2022) – At approximately 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, a multi-vehicle collision happened in Phoenix that required an emergency dispatch. 

According to information from officials, the wreck took place on 24th Street near Southern Avenue. Fire crews and other responders were called to the scene to help those involved. 

Three people were reportedly hospitalized due to the severity of their injuries. A man was transported in critical condition while a woman and a minor were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

Phoenix, AZ – One Killed, One Hurt in Wrong-Way Crash on SR-15 near Northern Ave

Phoenix, AZ (June 12, 2022) – One person lost their life and another person was injured in a wrong-way collision in Phoenix. The wreck was reported late Saturday night, June 11, according to information provided by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. 

According to reports, the incident happened on State Route 15 near the Northern Avenue exit. Witnesses said they saw a driver headed north in the southbound lanes of the roadway just before midnight on Saturday. 

The collision took place shortly after, sources said. One person was sent to the hospital with injuries of an unknown magnitude. Another person reportedly lost their life in the crash. The names of those involved have not been released at this time.

Authorities in Phoenix are investigating the details of the wreck.

Phoenix, AZ – Update: Eddie Fierro Killed by Drunk Driver on 59th Ave near McDowell Rd

Phoenix, AZ (June 11, 2022) – Authorities have updated the details concerning a man who lost his life on Sunday, June 5 when he was hit by a car in Phoenix. Eddie Fierro, 28, was identified as the victim of a fatal pedestrian crash that happened on 59th Avenue early Sunday morning. 

According to information from local reports, the incident occurred on 59th AVenue near McDowell Road after Fierro’s vehicle broke down. He was attempting to push his vehicle out of the road with a Good Samaritan who stopped to help him when they were both struck by a drunk driver. 

Fierro was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Good Samaritan sustained injuries, sources said. 

The driver, now identified as Daniel Osuna. He fled the scene without stopping to render aid but was later apprehended by police. Police said intoxication is suspected as a cause of the crash. 

Authorities continue to investigate the details of the crash.

Phoenix, AZ – Two Killed in Fiery Collision on Loop 101 Pima near 7th St

Phoenix, AZ (June 11, 2022) – A fatal car accident took the lives of at least two people in Phoenix on June 11. At approximately 11:00 a.m., firefighters were sent to the scene of the incident to help those involved. 

The crash happened between two vehicles on Loop 101 Pima near 7th Street. The cars collided, causing one of them to catch fire. Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety report that at least two people lost their lives in the accident.

Phoenix, AZ – Eduardo Fierro JR Killed in Collision on 63rd Ave near McDowell Rd

Phoenix, AZ (June 10, 2022) – Eduardi Fierro Jr, 28, was killed in a traffic accident Sunday, June 5 in Phoenix. Another person was left with critical injuries as a result of the crash. 

The fatal hit-and-run accident happened on 63rd Avenue near McDowell Road. Preliminary investigative reports show that Fierro’s car was stalled, and he was reportedly attempting to push his vehicle out of the way with a Good Samaritan who stopped to help. 

A truck struck both of them for reasons still being investigated. Fierro was pronounced deceased on-site while the other person involved was transported with critical injuries. 

The driver who struck them fled the scene on foot and attempted to report that his car was stolen. Authorities detained him the same day. 

Police continue to investigate.
