Arizona Auto Accidents
Car crashes can happen for a multitude of different reasons in Arizona. Currently, one of the main causes of auto accidents in Arizona and throughout the United States is driver intoxication. In 2019, nearly 300 people lost their lives in alcohol-related traffic accidents in the state of Arizona. Throughout the country that same year, over 10,000 people were killed due to DUI accidents.
All different types of driver negligence exist, including fatigue, distraction, and speeding. Intoxication is one of the worst because it is usually comparable to a mixture of all three types of negligence. When a person is intoxicated, they are unlikely to drive at safe speeds or pay attention to the road, and they may be falling asleep while driving.
