Phoenix, AZ (June 10, 2022) – A two-vehicle accident resulted in injuries in Phoenix on the morning of Sunday, June 5. At approximately 7:00 a.m., the wreck happened at the intersection of 20th Street and Jefferson Street.
Firefighters and other responders were sent to the scene to help the involved parties. They discovered a U-haul that was tipped over and an SUV that was resting inside of it.
Medics transported five individuals to local hospitals to be treated for injuries they sustained in the crash. Among the injured was a 9-year-old girl.
The severity of the injuries suffered was reported to be from minor to severe. Currently, police are working to determine the cause and contributing factors of the incident.
