Phoenix, AZ (August 10, 2022) – Police in Phoenix report that a motorcyclist lost his life after a collision in the Alhambra neighborhood. Police were called to the scene of the wreck early on the morning of Tuesday, August 9.
According to reports, the collision occurred at the intersection of 27th and Grand Avenues. The motorcyclist, identified as Josh Telmo, was found with critical injuries at the scene.
He was rushed to an area hospital by ambulance where he later lost his life. A Toyota Prius was seen at the crash site with extensive damage to its front end.
What led up to the collision remains unknown at this time. Police in the area continue to investigate the details of the incident.
27th Avenue was closed in both directions for an extended period of time during the early morning hours of August 9. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
