Phoenix, AZ (September 2, 2022) – A fatal car accident happened in Phoenix on the morning of September 2. At around 9:15 a.m., first responders were dispatched to a two-car wreck that happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10.
Reports show that the accident occurred on I-10 just west of I-51. Emergency crews transported one man and two women to the hospital with severe injuries. The man later lost his life.
The women were listed in critical condition. At this time, no one involved has been identified. The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed at 16th Street for an extensive period of time.
The Department of Public Safety is currently investigating the cause of the wreck.
