Phoenix, AZ (August 26, 2022) – Two men were sent to the hospital after they were injured by a vehicle that crashed into the restaurant they were dining at in Phoenix. According to information from reports, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, August 24.
Sources report that the vehicle collided with Sushi Sonora on 32nd Street just south of McDowell Road. Due to the severity of the damage, machinery was used by the Phoenix Fire Department to extricate the driver from the vehicle.
The driver was transported to a nearby medical center in stable condition. The two men who were struck by the vehicle were treated on-site by paramedics. One of them was transported to an area hospital for further care.
At this time, no one involved has been identified. Authorities in Phoenix continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
