Truck Accidents in Phoenix
Each year, hundreds of innocent people die as a result of traffic collisions in the state of Arizona. When trucks are involved in these accidents, the chances of a victim suffering severe and fatal injuries are dramatically increased.
There are many common causes of truck crashes in Arizona. One of the most common is speeding. Truckers often feel pressure to meet deadlines and may exceed the speed limit in order to make their deliveries on time. This can lead to serious accidents.
Another common cause of truck crashes is drowsy driving. Truck drivers often work long hours and may not get enough rest. This can lead to them falling asleep at the wheel, which can be very dangerous.
Distractions are also a common cause of truck accidents. Truckers may be distracted by their cell phones, GPS devices, or other things inside the cab of their truck. This can take their attention away from the road and increase the risk of an accident.
Impairment is a leading cause of truck crashes in Arizona. Truck drivers who are impaired by drugs or alcohol are a danger to themselves and others on the road. If you see a truck driver who appears to be impaired, report them to the authorities.
Failing to yield is another leading cause of truck crashes in Arizona. When a truck fails to yield, it can result in a serious or even fatal collision. If you see a truck driver failing to yield, be sure to report it to the authorities.
