Phoenix, AZ (November 18, 2022) – At around 2:45 p.m. on November 17, a fatal pedestrian crash in west Phoenix. Sources report the wreck occurred in a business driveway on 75th Avenue.
Police officers responded to the scene on 75th Avenue near Thomas Road. They found a woman believed to be in her 20s lying in the roadway in need of emergency medical care. The woman received aid from police until a Phoenix Fire Department crew made it to the scene.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was transported to the hospital where she later lost her life. Police detained the driver of the involved vehicle, who initially left the scene, but quickly returned.
The driver has not been identified. Authorities continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
