Tucson, AZ (September 26, 2022) – Tucson officials’ reports show that a car crash took one person’s life on Friday, September 23. It happened in the late night hours, according to local sources.
The accident was a hit-and-run that occurred on Grant Road near Stone Avenue. A pedestrian tried to cross Stone Avenue when they were hit by a black 2015-18 Mercedes C Class. The driver then fled the scene after striking the person.
Paramedics and other responders were seen at the wreck site shortly after the incident occurred. The victim was pronounced deceased on-site.
