Arizona Auto Collisions

Losing a loved one in a serious auto accident will undoubtedly leave you with a lot on your mind, to put it lightly. The idea of filing a wrongful death claim may seem stressful and overwhelming, however, your financial recovery matters, especially if the accident was caused by another person or party.

Over 125,000 auto collisions are reported per year in the Grand Canyon State, which result in injuries for tens of thousands of people. Sadly, more than 1,000 individuals end up losing their lives in fatal Arizona auto collisions per year.

When you’re injured in a collision caused by a negligent driver, their insurance company is liable for paying for your damages. The costs related to funeral care, medical care, vehicle repairs, loss of income, and even intangible costs such as suffering, pain, embarrassment, emotional turmoil, and other damages may be compensated for when you file a wrongful death claim. The extent of your damages depends on the nature and severity of your loved one’s accident, and the extent to which the loss has affected your life.

If you have had to suddenly say goodbye to someone you love in a fatal auto collision caused by driver negligence, a wrongful death lawyer in Phoenix can help you recover. Losing a loved one is extremely hard, but going into debt due to the costs that stem from their accident can just add insult to injury. A lawyer can help you tackle the financial burden you may be facing at this time.

Insurance companies are not worried about helping you recover; they only want to make a profit by offering you less compensation than you deserve. Your personal injury attorney can help you get a full and fair settlement that will cover or exceed the costs related to the death of your loved one.

At Samuel P. Moeller, PLLC, we are here to help you recover financially so you can focus on your health and well-being, and that of your family members. We work hard to ensure that you’re able to get your life back to normal, or at least a new level of it. Contact our law office as soon as you can by calling (602) 903-2905 to be connected with a compassionate and experienced lawyer who can help you learn more about your legal rights. We work on contingency, which means you pay us nothing unless you’re awarded financial compensation for the losses and damages you may be faced with.

Pedestrian Accidents in Arizona

When a traffic accident happens involving a pedestrian, the pedestrian usually has little to no protection. Even if you are as safe as possible, look both ways, and make eye contact with the people driving, you’re still at risk for suffering severe injuries when you travel as a pedestrian. Especially in today’s world, people choose to operate their vehicles while distracted, causing countless accidents every year.

Pedestrian collisions can happen for a multitude of reasons. Failure to follow traffic rules and speeding are two common causes of pedestrian crashes. Drivers should travel at safe and even slow speeds in areas where pedestrian travel is obviously common, such as schools, parks, and parking lots. Pedestrians who utilize crosswalks always possess the right of way, and drivers need to respect this fact.

Driver intoxication also causes numerous pedestrian collisions in the United States. Unfortunately, driving while high and drunk is common, even though drivers are totally aware that it is illegal and completely dangerous. Pedestrian crash lawyers can help you collect financial compensation if you or someone you love were struck by a vehicle while legally walking on or in close proximity to a roadway. Pedestrian accidents happen frequently in Arizona and across the United States. Sadly, many areas in Arizona are not specifically outfitted for safe pedestrian travel. Consequently, drivers are not accustomed to looking for pedestrians in these areas.

At Samuel P. Moeller, PLLC, we know that losing someone you love suddenly is one of the most difficult experiences anyone can face. When a wrongful death occurs due to the reckless actions of another person, the loss can be all the more painful.

Dependants of deceased crash victims may be able to be compensated for:

  • Funeral costs
  • Loss of future earnings
  • Medical care costs
  • Punitive damages if the death was intentionally caused

Contact the Phoenix wrongful death attorneys at Samuel P. Moeller, PLLC if you have recently lost a loved one in a deadly pedestrian crash in Phoenix or another area in Arizona. You deserve to be compensated for the losses that resulted from your loved one’s accident, and we can help you file a wrongful death claim. You can reach our office by calling (602) 903-2905 to see how we can assist you in obtaining the best outcome for your case.

Arizona Car Accidents

Over 10,000 car crashes happen in Arizona every month. On average, these collisions cause serious injuries that can severely alter the lives of crash victims. If a negligent driver caused an accident that resulted in injuries, the injured victims may qualify for financial compensation that can help them make a full financial recovery.

People injured in car wrecks caused by distracted drivers, intoxicated or speeding drivers, or fatigued drivers are often more severely injured than those who are hurt in other types of collisions. Arizona Auto Accidents

Most crash victims who are severely injured will find themselves stuck in the hospital for days, weeks, or even months. While in the hospital, victims will usually undergo invasive medical procedures that take up a lot of time, energy, and money. Not only are their hospital stays expensive, but they may also cost victims time at work, putting an even deeper dent in their pockets. This entire situation can be extremely overwhelming and difficult to deal with.
